Since our Post charter in 1938, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country

Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families as embodied in the preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion

Even though our address is a post office box located in Prospect Heights, a suburb in Northwest Chicago, we continue to meet on the North and Northwest side of Chicago to sponsor and host events. We now have regular meetings at the above loction on Chicago's Northwest side and serve the primary areas of Portage Park, Old Irving Park, Norwood Park and Jefferson Park.
Our membership though,
consists of individuals from all over Chicagoland and its suburbs
